8+ years of relevant network engineering experience, or 5+ years with an advanced degree, or 2+ years with a PhD
Experience with IP routing protocols OSPF and BGP
Experience with Cisco networking devices at CCNP level or equivalent
Experience with customer-facing network design and engineering
Experience with public cloud connectivity (AWS or GCP)
Experience with infrastructure as code and automation tools
Experience with enterprise DDI (DNS, DHCP, IPAM) systems

Nice to have

9+ years of experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 7+ years with an advanced degree, or 3+ years with a PhD
Degree in Math, Science, Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems
CCNP certification or working towards it
Experience with SD-WAN technologies (Cisco or Versa)
Experience with managed services network models
Experience with network management tools like Solarwinds and Netbrain
Experience with network monitoring and alarming platforms
DMVPN implementation in high availability settings
Container technology experience in production environments
