Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Chemical, Materials Science, or related engineering discipline plus 3 years process/manufacturing engineering experience, OR Master's degree plus 1 year experience, OR 7 years hands-on experience without degree
  • Experience in process development and scale-up from early-stage through production qualification
  • Working knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies like Lean or Six Sigma
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical documentation and SOPs
  • Experience with structured root cause analysis and corrective action methods
  • Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret process data
  • Self-starter who solves complex problems independently and as a team member
  • Demonstrated safety culture commitment and ability to work in regulated environments including OSHA and hazardous materials standards
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work comfortably in a manufacturing environment with PPE
  • Must be 21 or older, pass background investigation, and be eligible for federal explosives licenses and ITAR authorization
  • U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or protected individual eligible for ITAR authorization

Nice to have

  • Experience with energetic materials, solid rocket motor propellant chemistry, or hazardous manufacturing
  • Lean or Six Sigma certification at Green or Black Belt level with demonstrated application in automated production
  • Familiarity with DFARS, ITAR, or other defense-related regulatory frameworks
