What they ask for
Required
- Ownership of a developer platform, API, billing, or self-serve growth product with accountability for revenue or activation
- Experience building with or shipping on large language models
- Technical fluency in reading API docs and working through billing and identity systems with engineers
- Ability to pull your own data using SQL or equivalent to define metrics and size markets
- Experience negotiating pricing, revenue share, or program terms with Finance, Legal, or Business Development
- Clear written communication of tradeoffs for engineers, executives, and external partners
- Alignment with Anthropic's mission
Nice to have
- 8+ years of product management experience
- Experience with metering, usage attribution, reseller channels, or cloud marketplaces
- Track record taking a developer platform into a new industry or building in regulated industries like healthcare, life sciences, or financial services
- Experience growing self-serve or startup business models including pricing and packaging
- Built account, identity, or subscription systems spanning multiple products
- Zero-to-one product experience where users, product, and economics had to be worked out simultaneously
