What they ask for
Required
- 6+ years of design engineering experience with contract document development for physical security or low-voltage systems
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- Core expertise in access control, intrusion detection, video surveillance, intercommunications, radio, and network systems
- Ability to author specifications, drawings, and equipment schedules
- Strong understanding of A/E deliverables and phases (SD/DD/CD, RIBA Stages)
- Knowledge of CSI-format specifications and submittal processes
- Experience developing internal tools, web applications, BIM add-ins, or scripting/automation
- Detail-oriented technical writing and critical thinking skills
- Comfortable working in active construction environments and with global travel
Nice to have
- CDT, PSP, or CPP certification
- Familiarity with Revit API, BIM workflows, and version control
- Familiarity with Apple OS, Google Suite, and modern AI-assisted development tools
- Experience with Bluebeam, Revit/AutoCAD, Asana, Smartsheet, MS Project, Procore, PlanGrid, and Autodesk Construction Cloud
