What they ask for

Required

  • 6+ years of design engineering experience with contract document development for physical security or low-voltage systems
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
  • Core expertise in access control, intrusion detection, video surveillance, intercommunications, radio, and network systems
  • Ability to author specifications, drawings, and equipment schedules
  • Strong understanding of A/E deliverables and phases (SD/DD/CD, RIBA Stages)
  • Knowledge of CSI-format specifications and submittal processes
  • Experience developing internal tools, web applications, BIM add-ins, or scripting/automation
  • Detail-oriented technical writing and critical thinking skills
  • Comfortable working in active construction environments and with global travel

Nice to have

  • CDT, PSP, or CPP certification
  • Familiarity with Revit API, BIM workflows, and version control
  • Familiarity with Apple OS, Google Suite, and modern AI-assisted development tools
  • Experience with Bluebeam, Revit/AutoCAD, Asana, Smartsheet, MS Project, Procore, PlanGrid, and Autodesk Construction Cloud
