- Knowledge of cleaning procedures and proper use of cleaning equipment
- Knowledge of approved cleaning chemicals and Safety Data Sheets (SDS)
- Knowledge of Recreational Lodging program standards
- Ability to operate in-room appliances (coffee maker, television, clock radio, telephone)
- Ability to use PMS and/or POS software to update room status
- Ability to accurately complete daily room status reports and housekeeping assignment sheets
- Ability to interpret and execute cleaning actions per Recreational Lodging Housekeeping Manual
- Ability to apply general cleaning procedures to housekeeping tasks
- Ability to safely and properly use common hand and power tools
- Ability to prioritize work assignments and honor Do-Not-Disturb requests
- Ability to communicate clearly in English, verbally and in writing
