What they ask for
Required
- Hands-on performance engineering experience with profiling and root-cause investigation
- Proficiency in Python for reading and contributing to large codebases
- Data analysis skills (SQL, pandas, or equivalent)
- Ability to communicate quantitative findings in writing
- Understanding of correctness as an engineering discipline
Nice to have
- Experience with ML systems, inference infrastructure, or LLM serving stacks
- Familiarity with GPU/TPU/accelerator performance concepts
- Reliability engineering experience for high-throughput services
- Experience with model evaluation or numerical regression detection
- Experience building observability for distributed systems
