- 8+ years of experience in systems engineering or related field
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
- Computer system and firmware architecture expertise for server products
- Experience with CPLD or FPGA design and RTL
- End-to-end delivery of enterprise server products from definition to deployment
- Understanding of low-level interfaces: I2C, SPI, PCIe, JTAG, system boot, PCIe enumeration
- Experience working with hardware teams, ODMs, and vendors
- C/C++ development and bash/python scripting
- Hands-on debugging skills in embedded Linux
- Experience with QEMU and emulation tools
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
Nice to have
- Experience with early design and power-on debug
- Proven track record leading through challenging issues in fast-paced environments
- Experience accelerating design and debug with AI tools
