What they ask for
Required
- 5+ years network operations experience
- Deep knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, IS-IS, VxLAN, EVPN, QoS, GRE, IPsec, DNS, and MACsec
- Strong network troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Alert response and incident management experience within SLAs
- Experience with at least one cloud service provider (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI)
- Familiarity with Arista, Fortinet, or Juniper platforms
- Hands-on experience with network automation and tooling
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related technical field, or equivalent experience
Nice to have
- Mellanox/Cumulus OS and Infiniband knowledge
- Unix/Linux system administration skills
- Ability to write and understand Python or Shell scripts
- Experience with Netbox, Nautobot, Prometheus, Grafana, or Panoptes
