- Juris Doctor degree
- Active U.S. State Bar membership with willingness to obtain Oregon State Bar membership
- 7–10 years of relevant legal experience including at least 5 years advising on complex matters at a law firm
- Experience negotiating, drafting, or interpreting sophisticated commercial agreements
- Sound judgment and ability to provide practical, business-oriented advice
- Exceptional communication skills
- Credible engagement with business partners on legal and sports topics
- Genuine passion for sport and understanding of the sports ecosystem
