What this role is
AST SpaceMobile seeks a maintenance technician to keep production equipment and facility systems running in their satellite manufacturing plant. This role suits someone with hands-on industrial maintenance experience who can troubleshoot mechanical and electrical failures, perform preventative upkeep, and work independently during weekend shifts.

What they ask for
Required
- U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident, or authorized to work in the United States
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum one year of industrial, manufacturing, military, facilities, or electronics maintenance experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Basic understanding of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
Nice to have
- Three or more years of industrial maintenance experience
- Military maintenance experience (Electrical, Aviation, or Mechanical)
- Manufacturing, aerospace, semiconductor, chemical plant, refinery, or production facility experience
- Experience with CMMS systems and preventative maintenance programs
- Electrical troubleshooting using multimeters and test equipment
- Experience with motors, controls, conveyors, pumps, compressors, hydraulics, and pneumatics
- Knowledge of reliability-centered maintenance principles
- OSHA, electrical safety, Lockout/Tagout, or related certifications
- Technical school, vocational training, military technical training, or associate degree in maintenance field
- Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking abilities
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Experience supporting high-reliability operations
