What this role is

This is a foundational leadership role building AlphaSense's desktop engineering function from scratch, managing a small team of platform engineers responsible for ensuring the company's applications run reliably across managed endpoints while collaborating with both IT and product teams. The role suits an engineer who has moved into management without losing technical credibility, enjoys designing processes and building capability, and can balance quality standards with pragmatic problem-solving.
