What they ask for

Required

  • Virginia Department of Labor & Industry maintenance mechanic apprenticeship or equivalent
  • Virginia Department of Labor & Industry refrigeration mechanic apprenticeship or equivalent
  • 3+ years operating, maintaining and repairing refrigeration, HVAC, steam and compressed air systems
  • Valid and current EPA 608 universal refrigeration certification
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Interpret blueprints, P&IDs, piping schematics, electrical drawings, and specifications
  • Diagnose, repair and install mechanical and electrical components
  • Operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and ladders
  • Written and verbal communication about equipment issues and repairs
  • Document equipment repairs and troubleshooting in SAP system
  • Flexible availability for rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, and mandatory overtime
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions
  • Capability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
