Required
- Virginia Department of Labor & Industry maintenance mechanic apprenticeship or equivalent
- Virginia Department of Labor & Industry refrigeration mechanic apprenticeship or equivalent
- 3+ years operating, maintaining and repairing refrigeration, HVAC, steam and compressed air systems
- Valid and current EPA 608 universal refrigeration certification
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Interpret blueprints, P&IDs, piping schematics, electrical drawings, and specifications
- Diagnose, repair and install mechanical and electrical components
- Operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and ladders
- Written and verbal communication about equipment issues and repairs
- Document equipment repairs and troubleshooting in SAP system
- Flexible availability for rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, and mandatory overtime
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Capability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
