What they ask for
Required
- PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or related AI/ML field
- 5+ years post-PhD relevant work experience
- 8+ years conducting theoretical or applied research
- First-author publications in top-tier AI conferences (NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, KDD, ACL, AAAI)
- Hands-on experience with probabilistic modeling, causal inference, time-series forecasting, reinforcement learning, agentic systems, neuro-symbolic AI, or deep learning
- Experience developing and debugging in Python with TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar frameworks
- Track record of disseminating research through open sourcing, publications, and presentations
Nice to have
- Experience leading a research team and mentoring junior colleagues
- Background in fintech, payments, or money technologies
