What they ask for
Required
- Bachelor's degree and law degree from a top college or university
- 8–10 years of experience as deal counsel in a top law firm or in-house environment
- Significant leasing and development experience with retail organizations
- Expertise in reciprocal easement agreements, development agreements, joint ventures, condominiums, bankruptcy, condemnation, sale leasebacks, and assignments
- Strong negotiating skills with major national and regional shopping center developers and landlords
Nice to have
- Experience in construction law and familiarity with construction contracts
- Familiarity with AI tools like ChatGPT
