What they ask for
Required
- 5+ years in systems or database engineering
- Strong experience in a systems programming language (Rust preferred)
- Systems performance analysis skills (memory allocation, CPU profiling, lock contention)
- Strong fundamentals in networking, OS concepts, and systems debugging
Nice to have
- Knowledge of database internals (query engines, storage systems, indexing, compaction)
- Familiarity with similar query execution engines
