What they ask for
Required
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 3+ years of software development and backend engineering experience
- Proficient in JVM languages (Kotlin, Scala, Java) and Python
- Experience with Apache Kafka, Flink, Spark, and SQL
- Knowledge of functional programming, object-oriented programming, and TDD
- Knowledge of REST, JSON, gRPC, and WebSockets
- Experience with JSON, Avro, and Protobuf data structures
- Experience with ETL, stream processing, real-time pipelines, and batch processing
- Familiarity with Git and CI/CD tools
- Experience monitoring and analyzing system performance to identify bottlenecks
- Ability to work effectively with geographically distributed teams
