Required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Currently enrolled in accredited nursing program and completed first semester of Nursing Fundamentals, OR completed accredited nursing program within 1 year without RN/LPN license
- Basic Life Support CPR certification
- Knowledge of age-specific care for geriatric, adult, adolescent, and pediatric patients
- Ability to lift and move patients and equipment
- Ability to perform accuchecks and hemoccults
- Ability to remove peripheral IV catheters and drain patient collection systems
- Knowledge of medical terminology and vital sign parameters
- Accurate typing skills
Nice to have
- 1+ years experience as a nursing assistant
- Medical terminology knowledge
