Required

  • 8+ years of multimedia storytelling, video editing, and production experience at a major outlet
  • Experience creating original videos combining audio, video, still images, graphics, and text
  • Adobe Creative Cloud proficiency
  • Strong news judgment
  • Ability to work with reporters and colleagues on video synthesis
  • Experience incorporating audio, video, animation, and text into original videos
  • Proficiency with photo, video, audio, graphics, and animation in storytelling

Nice to have

  • Ability to meet deadlines and adapt to unpredictable news environments
  • Adobe Premiere editing skills
  • Design and animation software skills with understanding of typography, layout, color, and motion
