What they ask for
Required
- Bachelor of Science in manufacturing engineering, mechanical engineering, or equivalent
- 15+ years of experience designing, building, and commissioning tooling and fixtures for manufacturing, assembly, and test
- Proficiency with CAD and FEA-based analysis software for structural applications
- Experience managing full-cycle tooling projects from conception to commissioning
Nice to have
- Expertise in design for manufacturability and design for assembly
- Understanding of common manufacturing materials, GD&T, and tolerance/stack-up analysis
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes including mills, lathes, welding, sheet-metal bending, and assembly
- Experience with custom machine design including motors, actuators, linear rails, pneumatics, and bearings
