- 5+ years progressive payroll experience
- Complex U.S. multi-state payroll processing in large organizations
- Knowledge of payroll regulations, wage and hour laws, payroll taxation, garnishments, and leave practices
- Experience with payroll systems like ADP Workforce Now or similar platforms
- Advanced analytical and auditing skills to identify and resolve discrepancies independently
Nice to have
- Experience with publicly traded or similarly complex organizations
- Payroll processing for large distributed workforces across multiple states
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC)
- Advanced Excel skills for payroll reporting and analysis
