What they ask for
Required
- BS in Mechanical, Aerospace, Structural, or related engineering discipline
- 8+ years total engineering experience including structural analysis, loads and dynamics, structural testing, and mechanical analysis
- 3+ years leading engineering teams or functional groups with personnel development and resource planning
- Experience with industry-standard structural analysis tools including FEA, dynamics analysis, and test correlation
- Ability to manage staffing plans, labor forecasts, budgets, and multi-program resource demands
- Ability to communicate technical issues to engineering leadership, program management, and customers
- Experience developing or enforcing engineering workflows, quality procedures, and technical standards
- Strong communication, organization, mentoring, and leadership skills
- Willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed for project milestones
- Access to export-controlled technical data subject to ITAR or EAR regulations (may require additional screening)
Nice to have
- MS degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Structural Engineering
- PMP certification
- Experience supporting human spaceflight programs and NASA standards
- Experience leading multi-disciplinary structural analysis organizations
- Experience with configuration management and engineering quality systems
