Required
- 10+ years in public policy, government affairs, national security, or technology policy
- Experience in Congress, White House, federal agency, national security organization, or leading policy institution
- Working knowledge of AI and its underlying technical concepts
- Strong understanding of U.S. government institutions and legislative process
- Established bipartisan relationships with policymakers and regulators
Nice to have
- Experience advising senior government officials or technology executives
- Background in AI, cybersecurity, defense technology, or emerging technology policy
- Prior experience building a policy function or being first policy hire at a tech company
