What they ask for
Required
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting
- Active CPA license or equivalent professional certification
- 10+ years of combined public accounting and industry experience
- Deep technical accounting expertise and knowledge of US GAAP and reporting requirements including ASC 805 and stock-based compensation
- Ability to independently research, analyze, and document complex accounting issues
- Strong executive presence with exceptional written and verbal communication
- SOX-compliant environment experience with understanding of internal controls
- M&A transaction accounting experience
- Corporate debt and credit agreement accounting experience including debt modification and extinguishment analysis
- Work on-site in Salt Lake City once a week or work remotely and travel in once a quarter
Nice to have
- Hedge accounting experience
- NetSuite or similar ERP experience
- Equity administration and Shareworks experience
- Claude or other AI platform experience
