What they ask for
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent
- 5+ years designing complex mechanical systems in space, aerospace, automotive, or similar industry
- Proficiency with CAD software (SolidWorks, Creo, or equivalent)
- Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing per ASME Y14.5
- Hands-on experience with hardware manufacture, inspection, assembly, and/or testing
- Ability to manage complex projects and coordinate across engineering disciplines
- Experience conducting technical peer reviews
- Strong communication and collaborative skills
- Experience interfacing with internal and external customers
- U.S. citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain DoD security clearance
Nice to have
- Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering
- Demonstrated product ownership across the product lifecycle
- Production environment experience in space or aerospace industry
- Ability to mentor and support engineering team technical growth
