What they ask for
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or related engineering discipline
- 7+ years quality engineering experience in regulated manufacturing with demonstrated technical leadership
- Deep knowledge of quality management systems, inspection methods, and statistical techniques
- Expertise applying root cause analysis tools to complex problems
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Ability to lead projects and mentor others in high-hazard, safety-critical environments
- At least 21 years old
- Pass State and Federal background checks
- Obtain and maintain State and Federal explosives licenses
- U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or protected individual eligible for ITAR authorization
Nice to have
- Experience in energetics, explosives, aerospace, defense, or high-reliability manufacturing
- ASQ certifications (CQE, CQA, Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt)
- Advanced familiarity with AS9100, ISO 9001, or DoD requirements
- Configuration management and controlled documentation experience
- Knowledge of government contract requirements and customer quality clauses
