What this role is
As the primary technical contact for Boeing's satellite customers, you'll manage on-orbit operations, investigate anomalies, and lead multi-disciplinary response teams 24/7 while coordinating with commercial, civil, and DoD clients. This role suits experienced engineers with deep satellite systems knowledge who can communicate effectively across customer, management, and executive levels while working independently under pressure.

Required
- US Citizenship
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
- 3+ years Space/Satellite systems experience
- 1+ years Real-time Satellite or Space Systems Operations experience
- 3+ years propulsion, GNC, or Avionics design/integration experience
- 1+ years direct external customer interaction
- Ability to obtain US Top Secret Security Clearance
- 100% onsite work in El Segundo, CA
Nice to have
- Current active DoD clearance or Tier 5 security investigation
- Experience leading multi-disciplinary engineering teams
- Strong communication, adaptability, decision-making, and customer focus
- Background in satellite mission operations, astrodynamics, orbital mechanics, or mission systems engineering
- Experience with Boeing satellite products (601, 601HP, 702, 702SP, mPower)
- 9+ years related work experience
