What they ask for

Required

  • High school diploma
  • 7+ years industrial maintenance experience
  • Mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills for rotating equipment, gearboxes, pumps, conveyors, hydraulics, and production machinery
  • Working knowledge of electrical systems up to 480V including motors, starters, VFDs, conduit, and wiring
  • Basic PLC and control systems understanding with ability to assist troubleshooting and I/O checks
  • Ability to read mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and technical manuals
  • Experience with preventive and predictive maintenance and record keeping
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in teams
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl for extended periods in outdoor industrial environment
  • Ability to work in high-hazard explosive manufacturing environment with exposure to heat, cold, noise, dust, and explosives
  • Ability to wear required PPE including flame-resistant clothing
  • Ability to obtain and maintain state and federal explosives licenses
  • U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or eligible for ITAR authorization
  • At least 21 years old
  • Drug-free status in compliance with Drug-Free Workplace Act and Executive Order 12564
  • Ability to pass legally required background investigations and DoD clearance requirements

Nice to have

  • Experience in energetic materials or other high-hazard manufacturing environments (chemical, refining)
  • Experience with PLC troubleshooting and basic programming (Allen-Bradley or Siemens)
