Required
- High school diploma
- 7+ years industrial maintenance experience
- Mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills for rotating equipment, gearboxes, pumps, conveyors, hydraulics, and production machinery
- Working knowledge of electrical systems up to 480V including motors, starters, VFDs, conduit, and wiring
- Basic PLC and control systems understanding with ability to assist troubleshooting and I/O checks
- Ability to read mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and technical manuals
- Experience with preventive and predictive maintenance and record keeping
- Problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in teams
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl for extended periods in outdoor industrial environment
- Ability to work in high-hazard explosive manufacturing environment with exposure to heat, cold, noise, dust, and explosives
- Ability to wear required PPE including flame-resistant clothing
- Ability to obtain and maintain state and federal explosives licenses
- U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or eligible for ITAR authorization
- At least 21 years old
- Drug-free status in compliance with Drug-Free Workplace Act and Executive Order 12564
- Ability to pass legally required background investigations and DoD clearance requirements
Nice to have
- Experience in energetic materials or other high-hazard manufacturing environments (chemical, refining)
- Experience with PLC troubleshooting and basic programming (Allen-Bradley or Siemens)
