What this role is
Stoke is hiring interns across engineering disciplines—mechanical, electrical, avionics, manufacturing, and test—to contribute directly to the design and operation of their reusable launch vehicle. This internship suits current undergraduates and recent graduates with hands-on engineering experience who can work full-time onsite for 10–14 weeks starting May 2027.

What they ask for
Required
- Pursuing Bachelor's or Master's degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, or similar STEM field
- Exceptional command of engineering fundamentals
- Hands-on engineering experience through internships, personal projects, work, or teams
- Ability to manage a complex technical project through execution
- Ability to learn and apply state-of-the-art techniques
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Able to work full-time onsite for minimum 10–14 consecutive weeks starting May 2027
- U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or protected individual under 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)
Nice to have
- Mechanical: project-level experience with mechanical, thermodynamic, or fluid design and analysis; CAD proficiency; team collaboration
- Manufacturing: hands-on experience building things or working in a machine shop
- Avionics: designing, testing, and integrating PCBs, test equipment, and/or harnessing
- Test Operations: hands-on experience building things or performing hazardous operations such as pressure testing or cryogenic handling
