What they ask for
Required
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Packaging, Mechanical or Automation Engineering (or equivalent engineering degree)
- Minimum 8 years of experience as a Packaging Engineer
- Technical leadership for labeling and secondary packaging equipment implementation
- Ability to manage capital projects from design through commissioning and validation
- GMP compliance and regulatory knowledge
Nice to have
- Minimum 5 years in a GMP environment
- Technical and regulatory background in pharmaceutical/biotech labeling and secondary packaging
- Direct design responsibility on large capital/expansion programs
- Experience with thermoforming, heat sealing, cartoning, vision inspection, serialization, and coding systems
- Knowledge of automatic inspection and clinical packaging operations
- Structured problem-solving and root cause analysis skills
- Statistical analysis techniques
- Ability to present work to cross-functional stakeholders and influence decisions
