What they ask for

Required

  • Bachelor's or Master's in CS, engineering, math, physics, or related field
  • 3–5 years of software engineering experience shipping production systems
  • Backend fluency in Python, TypeScript, or similar
  • Frontend fluency in React and Next.js with modern TypeScript
  • System design fundamentals including API design, data modeling, async patterns, caching, and queues
  • Frontend architecture knowledge including component design and state management
  • Production experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure cloud infrastructure
  • Production experience with CI/CD pipelines
  • Built and shipped something real with LLMs in customer hands
  • Able to run technical discovery sessions and defend architectural decisions to non-technical executives
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Nice to have

  • Experience mentoring junior engineers or leading technical reviews
  • Prior experience in forward-deployed, solutions engineering, or client-embedded roles at B2B software companies
  • Experience with GCP, Vercel, Temporal, Alembic, Docker
  • Prior experience integrating with third-party or enterprise systems
