Required
- J.D. from accredited law school with active bar membership
- 15+ years combined law firm and in-house counsel experience
- Deep expertise in IP strategy, patent prosecution, copyright, and trade secret protection
- Significant experience with GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and global privacy frameworks
- Demonstrated cybersecurity legal advisory experience including incident response
- Experience with AI and technology governance frameworks
- Track record leading enterprise legal programs and building global teams
- Strong understanding of software, data, and analytics-driven business models
Nice to have
- Technical undergraduate degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or equivalent technical fluency
- Demonstrated depth in patent strategy and prosecution oversight
- Experience advising financial services, fintech, or information services companies
- Prior in-house leadership at company with significant proprietary data and analytics assets
