  • 7+ years building resilient backend systems for user-facing or B2B products
  • Strong software engineering discipline with automated testing and regression protection
  • Deep proficiency in Python or similar language and distributed systems design
  • Production experience in cloud environments (GCP, AWS, or Azure) with IAM and access controls
  • Track record improving performance and reliability of ambiguous or legacy systems

  • Observability tooling expertise for monitoring and debugging production systems

  • Active use of LLMs or AI tooling in engineering workflows
  • Able to work in Seattle, Denver, or NYC office 2-3 days per week
  • Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship

Nice to have

  • Experience operating systems across multiple cloud providers
  • Built or supported generative AI, LLM, or ML-powered systems
  • Event-driven systems design using queues or streaming infrastructure
  • Startup or high-growth environment experience
  • Proficiency with agentic coding tools such as Claude Code
