What this role is
This is an entry-level engineering development program for recent graduates joining AST SpaceMobile's spacecraft manufacturing operations in Texas. You'll start as an engineering technician assembling satellite components, then progress through a structured path toward manufacturing or industrial engineering roles while gaining hands-on experience with flight hardware and early leadership opportunities.

What they ask for
Required
- Bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering, or physics
- Recent graduate or early-career professional
- Hands-on engineering project experience from internships, research labs, or academic work
- Ability to work in cleanroom environments with ESD and FOD protocols
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
Nice to have
- Experience with mechanical assemblies or electromechanical systems
- Exposure to aerospace manufacturing or spacecraft systems
- Experience with bonding, adhesives, or precision assembly processes
- Participation in engineering project teams or robotics competitions
- Experience with wiring harnesses
