What they ask for
Required
- BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
- 8+ years systems software engineering experience
- Strong C and C++ development and debugging
- Linux systems knowledge and hands-on native software stack experience
- Practical experience with GCC or LLVM/Clang, linkers, and build systems
- Experience in large multi-component codebases and CI environments
- Performance profiling and root-cause analysis skills
- Lead projects with substantial technical and organizational ambiguity
- Excellent written and verbal communication and cross-team collaboration record
Nice to have
- Arm64 systems, CPU architecture, vectorization, or SVE experience
- LTO, PGO, AutoFDO, BOLT, or binary optimization experience
- Clang diagnostics, AddressSanitizer, or code-health workflow experience
- PMU analysis, perf, flamegraphs, BRBE, SPE, or ETM profiling experience
- Cross-compilation, sysroots, large monorepositories, or distributed build systems experience
- Track record turning a successful migration or optimization into a maintained team workflow
- Python or scripting experience for engineering automation
