  • Proven experience owning a high-volume purchasing portfolio end-to-end in procure-to-pay
  • Working knowledge of accrual accounting as applied to purchasing including accruals, reversals, service period cutoff, prepaid vs expense, and GL coding
  • Experience supporting outsourced or managed service vendors at scale with variable scope and volume
  • Understanding of how contract review, security review, and financial controls fit together in purchases

Nice to have

  • 5-7+ years of procurement operations or vendor operations experience
  • Experience supporting research, engineering, hardware, or outsourced services organizations
  • Background at a hypergrowth technology company scaling procurement for vendor-delivered work
  • Accounting, accounts payable, or month-end close process background including three-way match
  • Experience sourcing data labeling, annotation, or evaluation vendors
  • Direct experience with Zip, Workday Financials, and Ironclad
  • Prior ownership of month-end accrual review or open PO reconciliation for large variable spend
  • Experience designing tiered intake or approval frameworks
