What they ask for
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related engineering discipline
- 10+ years of Supplier Quality Engineering experience or equivalent
- Technical expertise in quality engineering principles and methodologies for hardware and electronics
- Experience assessing and qualifying suppliers and performing audits
- Experience driving root cause analysis and CAPA
- Knowledge of QMS development and supplier-facing policies
- Knowledge of NPI quality requirements at supplier level
- Experience with electromechanical and PCBA assembly processes
- Strong understanding of relevant electronics and assembly standards
- Ability to travel to suppliers 10-50% of the time
Nice to have
- ASQ certifications such as CQE, CSQP, or CMQ/OE
- Familiarity with Net-Inspect
