This role leads environmental testing campaigns for satellites destined for orbit, validating their ability to withstand launch forces and the vacuum and temperature extremes of space. What they ask for
Required
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical, aerospace, or related engineering field
- Minimum 3 years hands-on environmental testing experience in aerospace, defense, or high-reliability systems
- Working knowledge of NASA GEVS and MIL-STD-810
- Demonstrated proficiency with TVAC chambers and vibration tables
- Ability to read mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and technical specifications
- Hands-on experience with test instrumentation and data acquisition systems
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds
- Ability to work night shift Monday–Thursday, 6:00 p.m.–4:00 a.m.
Nice to have
- Direct environmental testing experience with satellites or spacecraft
- In-depth knowledge of aerospace materials in vacuum, thermal, and vibrational environments
