What they ask for
Required
- 5+ years EMI/EMC engineering in aerospace (launch vehicles, spacecraft, or aircraft)
- Advanced degree in electrical engineering, physics, or related field
- Experience with MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-464, NASA-STD-4003
- Knowledge of in-atmosphere and space EMI/EMC including plasma effects, charging, grounding, bonding, shielding, and electromagnetic field coupling
- Understanding of material electrical properties (paint, anodize, alodine, conductivity, resistivity)
- EMI/EMC troubleshooting from system to board level
- Proficiency with EMI/EMC test equipment (spectrum analyzers, EMI receivers, antennas, LISNs, current probes)
- RF principles and RF engineering knowledge
- On-site work in Kent, WA
- U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent residency (ITAR requirement)
Nice to have
- Familiarity with simulation tools (SPICE, HFSS, CST)
- Experience in fast-paced environments with flight hardware
