What they ask for
Required
- B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related technical field
- 3+ years of professional mechanical or electromechanical design and analysis experience
- Proficiency with parametric 3D CAD and 2D drawing creation
- Hardware development experience from concept through design, analysis, manufacturing, and test
- Working knowledge of structural and thermal analysis fundamentals using hand calculations or FEA
- GD&T per ASME Y14.5 understanding and application
- Understanding of machining, sheet metal fabrication, and additive manufacturing
- U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent resident status for ITAR compliance
Nice to have
- NX or comparable CAD experience
- Ansys or comparable FEA experience
- Structural, modal, and tolerance-stack analysis of electromechanical assemblies
- Thermal analysis for avionics and electronics components
- Electronics and component packaging design for extreme environments
