What they ask for
Required
- Desire to work with and care for animals daily
- Ability to handle and restrain rodents
- Proficiency in rodent sexing
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Ability to stand and walk on concrete for at least 2 hours at a time
- Frequent bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, squatting and lifting
- English communication (reading, writing, oral)
- Available to work weekends and holidays on a rotating basis
- Willingness to work overtime when needed
- Cage cleaning and sanitation duties
- Preparation and handling of cleaners and disinfectants
- Basic health assessment of rodents
- Ability to calibrate digital scales
- Pest management duties
- Customer order fulfillment and packaging
- Paperwork and recordkeeping
