Required
- Associate's degree in Nursing
- Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Basic Life Support CPR certification
- Computer proficiency
- Perioperative nursing experience
- Acute care nursing knowledge
- Computerized documentation experience
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Clear communication and anticipatory skills
- Manual dexterity and physical capability to lift and move equipment and patients
- Circulating and scrub skills
- English language fluency (speaking, reading, writing)
- Ability to prepare surgical suites per surgeon preferences
- Knowledge of surgical instruments and equipment
- Understanding of surgical procedures and surgeon needs
- Strong physician and team relationships
- Knowledge of regulatory and compliance standards
- Effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare team
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- 1+ years general acute care nursing experience
- 2+ years perioperative nursing experience
- 2+ years circulating and/or scrub experience in multi-specialty settings
- Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) certification
- Certified Registered Nurse First Assist (CRNFA) certification
