What they ask for
Required
- Bachelor's degree in RF or Electrical Engineering
- 7+ years of experience designing, integrating, or testing space hardware
- Experience developing space payload hardware and software, preferably communications systems
- Must meet ITAR requirements: U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee
Nice to have
- Hands-on experience with software-defined radios, antennas, FPGAs, GPUs, CPUs, SoCs, single-board computers, or microcontrollers
- Programming proficiency in C++, C, Python, or MATLAB
- Experience with Linux-based systems
- Familiarity with VHDL or Verilog and Altera or Xilinx FPGAs
- Proficiency with Altium electrical design software
- Strong knowledge of RF air interfaces and multiple access schemes (TDMA, FDMA, OFDMA, CDMA)
- Hands-on hardware-software integration experience
- Knowledge of communications protocols (IP, TCP/IP, LTE, GSM, 802.11, etc.)
