What they ask for
Required
- Active unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license
- Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN)
- Minimum 3 years filing 30+ federal and state 1040 returns per tax season
- Professional tax preparation software experience
- Familiarity with Circular 230
- Minimum 20 hours per week onsite availability, flexible scheduling including weekends
- Ability to obtain required state licenses, certificates, or bonds
- Willingness to wear TurboTax uniform and work in retail environment
Nice to have
- Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills
- Experience with holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing
- Established local or online social presence as a tax expert
