What they ask for
Required
- Bachelor's degree in environmental health & safety, occupational safety, or related field plus 1 year EHS experience, OR Master's degree in related field, OR 5+ years progressive EHS experience, OR high school diploma with 3+ years progressive EHS experience
- Working knowledge of OSHA general industry standards and federal and state environmental and safety regulations
- Ability to conduct workplace inspections and identify hazards
- Strong organizational skills for compliance documentation and training records in a regulated industrial environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent resident status for ITAR compliance
- Ability to meet eligibility requirements for state and federal explosives licenses and background investigations
- Age 21 or over
- Drug-free workplace compliance
Nice to have
- Experience in manufacturing, chemical, defense, or industrial environment
- Exposure to explosives regulations, HazMat handling, or DOT/PHMSA requirements
- Current OSHA 10 or 30-Hour certification
- First Aid/CPR certification
- Other relevant EHS credentials
