Required
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Network Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of network engineering or network security engineering experience
- 3+ years securing enterprise or service provider network environments
- Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, Arista, Nokia, F5, Fortinet, or equivalent platforms
- Hands-on routing and switching experience
- Experience with network vulnerability remediation, patch validation, and configuration hardening
- Understanding of networking fundamentals including routing, switching, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, network segmentation
- Knowledge of network security technologies including AAA, TACACS+, RADIUS, PKI, access control, IDS/IPS, firewalls, VPNs
- Experience supporting PCI-DSS, SOC 2, NIST, CIS Controls, or similar compliance frameworks
- Ability to analyze CVEs and vendor security advisories
- Experience with network monitoring, logging, and configuration management tools
- Experience with change management, incident management, and operational processes
Nice to have
- 7+ years in network security engineering at large enterprise, telecom, ISP, cable, cloud, or service provider
- Experience securing carrier-grade infrastructure for large-scale production
- Hands-on network hardening aligned to CIS Benchmarks, NIST, or CISA guidance
- Automation and scripting experience with Python, Ansible, PowerShell, Terraform
- Network compliance, vulnerability scanning, and reporting platform experience
- Knowledge of Zero Trust, secure-by-design principles, and privileged access management
- Security incident response and forensic investigation experience
- Cloud networking and hybrid infrastructure security experience with AWS, Azure, GCP
- Industry certifications such as CISSP, CCNP Security, JNCIS/JNCIP, GIAC, or Security+
