This role maintains and cleans aerospace hardware for space suit life support systems using precision cleaning techniques and equipment. What they ask for
Required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 15–20 years of precision cleaning experience or equivalent combination
- xEMU/EMU precision cleaning experience
- Knowledge of NASA standards for precision cleaning verification
- Familiarity with NASA contamination control requirements
- Experience with precision tools and measuring devices
- U.S. citizenship or permanent residency
- Ability to obtain U.S. government security clearance
- Willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed
Nice to have
- Experience verifying cleanliness of flight hardware
- Familiarity with NASA documentation on hardware cleanliness verification
- Experience working with NASA engineering, safety, and quality teams
