  • 8+ years of software engineering experience
  • 2+ years in technical leadership or lead engineer role
  • Domain experience in digital account opening, loan origination, financial onboarding, or banking technology
  • Strong proficiency in C#, .NET Core, Entity Framework, and SQL Server
  • Strong proficiency in Angular and TypeScript
  • Experience building and integrating with core banking systems or third-party financial APIs
  • Ability to architect scalable, secure, compliant systems in regulated financial environments
  • Experience leading engineering teams and driving delivery
  • Understanding of KYC/AML compliance, identity verification, and data privacy in financial applications
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure, containerization, microservices, and CI/CD
  • Available to work Eastern Time Zone hours
  • Located in Canada

Nice to have

  • Direct experience with credit union or community bank account opening or loan origination platforms
  • Familiarity with Corelation Keystone, Jack Henry Symitar, Fiserv Portico, or CU Answers
  • Experience with Plaid, Socure, Alloy, or DocuSign
  • Experience with business banking account opening or commercial onboarding workflows
  • Background in conversion optimization for digital financial onboarding flows
