What they ask for
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality Engineering, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in Supplier Quality, Manufacturing Quality, Quality Engineering, or related field with direct supplier and subcontractor experience
- Strong knowledge of quality tools including PFMEA, Control Plans, SPC, MSA, 8D/RCCA, and CAPA
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and technical specifications
- Strong analytical capabilities to evaluate process capability and statistical data
- Ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to travel to supplier facilities
- Participation in safety, background check, drug, and alcohol programs
Nice to have
- ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Certified Supplier Quality Professional (CSQP)
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
- Experience with PPAP/APQP and automotive or aerospace quality methodologies
- Experience with special manufacturing processes such as welding, machining, fabrication, casting, or forging
- Experience with ERP/QMS software platforms and supplier quality dashboards
- Experience scaling supplier quality in high-growth manufacturing or NPI environments
