Required
- 10+ years construction QA/QC or field engineering experience
- Deep technical understanding of MEP systems in mission-critical infrastructure
- Strong experience with electrical distribution and mechanical/cooling systems
- Ability to develop and improve inspection test plans and quality standards
- Proficiency reading and interpreting drawings, specifications, and technical submittals
- Experience with defect tracking and root cause analysis
- Ability to influence contractors and engineering teams without direct authority
- Strong field presence to identify installation risks early
- Understanding of how construction quality impacts commissioning and operations
- On-site full-time presence
- Ability to travel to other construction sites as needed
Nice to have
- Data center or hyperscale experience with AWS, Meta, Google, or Microsoft
- Experience in healthcare, semiconductor, refinery, or power infrastructure projects
- Close collaboration experience with commissioning teams on integrated systems testing
- Familiarity with construction/quality tools like Procore, BIM360, or commissioning platforms
- Certifications such as CQM, CQI, PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or ASQ
- Experience creating quality standards or lessons-learned programs at scale
