What they ask for

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering or equivalent
  • 5+ years designing, building, and testing valves in aerospace or industrial applications
  • Hands-on fabrication and assembly experience
  • Deep knowledge of compressible flow, thermodynamics, structures, control systems, cryogenics, and instrumentation
  • Experience with revision-controlled P&IDs
  • Knowledge of aerospace fasteners, seals, tubing, fittings, and COTS hardware
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • U.S. citizenship or permanent residency (ITAR requirement)

Nice to have

  • Experience with pressure transducers, thermocouples, load cells, accelerometers, and flow meters
  • Proficiency in fluid analysis tools like AMESim, REFPROP, MATLAB, or Excel
  • GD&T, tolerance stackup, and material selection expertise
  • Extensive CAD and configuration management experience with Siemens NX and Teamcenter
